What is the cheapest car to rent at Otopeni?
The most affordable cars are the Dacia Logan, Fiat Tipo and Seat Toledo, from €15 per day for longer rentals. For 1–3 days the price is €28–31 per day. All are rented with no deposit, with Full CASCO included.
Are there hidden costs or extra fees?
No. The price shown when booking is the final price and includes RCA insurance, Full CASCO insurance and unlimited mileage. We do not hold any deposit. The only extra costs arise only if you choose or trigger them: the €10 per day fee for drivers under 21 and an extra day if you return the car after the grace period.
I live abroad and I am travelling to Romania. Can I rent a car at Otopeni?
Yes, many of our customers fly in from abroad. You need your ID card or passport and a valid driving licence held for at least 1 year. The car waits for you at Arrivals right after you land, with no deposit.
Can I book the car on WhatsApp?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp at +40 760 193 060 with the pickup date, time and place, plus the car you want, and we will confirm availability and the price. If you prefer, you can book online in a few minutes.
Can I rent a car from Băneasa Airport?
Yes. Băneasa (Aurel Vlaicu Airport) is one of our pickup and return locations, along with Bucharest and Otopeni. You can find more details on the Băneasa Airport car rental page.
Can I pick up the car in Bucharest, not only at the airport?
Yes. You can pick up and return the car in Bucharest, at Otopeni or at Băneasa. We agree on the exact meeting point in Bucharest together when we confirm your booking by phone.
Can I rent a car for a month?
Yes. For long rentals, discounts are applied automatically from 4, 8, 16 and 22 days, and the price goes down to €15 per day. Even for a month, the rental stays with no deposit, with unlimited mileage and Full CASCO included.
Can I rent a car just for a weekend?
Yes. The minimum rental period is one day, so you can rent for a 2–3 day weekend. For 1–3 days the price is €28–31 per day, depending on the car, with no deposit.
Can I drive the rental car all over Romania?
Yes. Mileage is unlimited, so you can go anywhere in the country, to the mountains or to the seaside. Roadside assistance is free and available 24/7 throughout Romania.
Which company operates Închirieri Auto Otopeni?
The service is operated by Atlass Automotive Rapid SRL, a company registered since 2017 (tax ID 37175850, J40/3016/09.03.2017), with car handover at Henri Coandă Airport (Otopeni). You can find out more about us on the About Us page.

Can I rent if I have held my licence for less than a year?
The standard condition is a valid driving licence held for at least 1 year. If you do not meet this condition, call us at +40 760 193 060 before booking.
Is it safe to rent a car with no deposit?
Yes. The rental is made under a contract, with a company registered since 2017, and the cars have RCA and Full CASCO insurance included in the price. It is precisely the full insurance that allows us not to hold any deposit, and it gives you peace of mind on the road.
Which car do you recommend for long journeys?
For long journeys we recommend the large saloons Ford Mondeo and Opel Insignia, from €19 per day. If you want an SUV, choose the Hyundai Kona. For large groups there is the 7-seat Opel Zafira.
Can I return the car at the airport before my return flight?
Yes. In the booking form, choose Otopeni Airport as the return location, even if you picked up the car in Bucharest or at Băneasa. Allow enough time for check-in before your flight.
Can I extend the rental if I stay longer?
Yes, subject to availability. Let us know in advance by phone or WhatsApp at +40 760 193 060. Extra days are charged at your car’s daily rate.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We wait for you, however long the delay. Our agent waits for you at the Arrivals terminal of Henri Coandă Airport (Otopeni), no matter how late your flight is, and you pay nothing extra for it. We recommend giving us your flight number when booking.
What is the fuel policy?
The car is returned with the same amount of fuel it had when you picked it up. You do not pay for a full tank in advance and we do not charge you for fuel you did not use: you only refuel what you consumed.
Do you have child seats and how much do they cost?
Yes, we have child seats and we provide them free of charge with the rental. Tell us when booking or on WhatsApp, at +40 760 193 060, how many seats you need and the children’s ages, so we can have them fitted in the car.
Can I leave the country with the rental car?
Only with the company’s explicit consent. If you want to leave Romania with the car, tell us before booking, by phone or WhatsApp at +40 760 193 060, and specify which countries you are travelling to. Without this consent, the car may only be used within Romania.
