Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the website https://inchirieriauto-otopeni.com/ and the services of Închirieri Auto Otopeni. By accessing and using the website, you agree to these provisions.
Who we are
Atlass Automotive Rapid SRL (brand: Închirieri Auto Otopeni), with its registered office at Henri Coandă Airport, Otopeni, Ilfov, tax ID (CUI) 37175850, registered with the Trade Register under no. J40/3016/09.03.2017, a company providing private services to its customers and partners.
Nature of the services
The Company is a private entity providing car rental (rent a car) services to its customers, with pickup in Bucharest, Otopeni or Băneasa. The Company is not a government institution and does not represent any public authority.
Specific car rental conditions
Age and driving licence
The minimum rental age is 21, with a driving licence held for at least 1 year. Drivers under 21 can rent with an additional insurance fee of 10 euros per day. The driver must hold a valid driving licence for the entire rental period.
Price and deposit
The price shown for each car is the final price per rental day — with no deposit (no deposit is held at pickup). Discounts applicable according to the number of days are shown in the booking form, before you send your request.
Fuel policy
The car is handed over and returned with the same fuel level, unless otherwise agreed at pickup. Any fuel missing on return is charged at the rate communicated at handover.
Mileage
The included mileage limit (if any) and the cost per additional kilometre are shown on each car’s page; most cars in the fleet have unlimited mileage.
Insurance and damage
All cars in the fleet have compulsory third-party insurance (RCA) and comprehensive insurance (Full CASCO) included in the price. Thanks to the Full CASCO insurance, the rental is made with no deposit: no deposit is held at pickup. Damage not covered by the insurance under the policy conditions (for example, driving under the influence of alcohol or without a valid licence) is recovered from the customer.
Cancelling and changing a booking
The booking is confirmed by phone after the request is sent; the conditions for cancellation or changes are communicated and agreed at that time, depending on the time remaining until the pickup date.
Handover and return
The car is handed over on the confirmed date, time and location (Bucharest, Otopeni or Băneasa). Returning the car later than the grace period shown when booking may incur additional costs, calculated at the car’s rate for the extra day(s).
Collaborators and partners
For certain services, the Company may work with independent partners or specialists who, within the limits of their responsibilities, assume the specific services incumbent upon them by law. The Company’s role is limited to providing the agreed service and operational coordination, without exercising duties reserved by law for other professions.
Virtual assistant (AI chatbot)
The website may provide a virtual assistant (an artificial-intelligence chatbot) for general information about the services and for taking contact requests. By using it, you accept that:
- the answers are strictly informative and indicative, are generated automatically, may contain errors or incomplete information and do not constitute legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, nor a firm offer;
- you should not make decisions based solely on the assistant’s answers; for your specific situation, they are confirmed by a Company consultant;
- you should not enter sensitive data or confidential documents in the chat; you can ask at any time for the conversation to be taken over by a person;
- the feature may be interrupted or changed at any time without prior notice.

Offer and rates
Services are provided on the basis of a personalised offer, depending on the specific situation. Rates are communicated on request and, unless otherwise stated, are expressed in lei and do not include official fees payable to institutions. Payment is made as agreed (usually by invoice / bank transfer).
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, under Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014, without having to justify your decision. If you expressly request that the services begin before this period expires, you will owe the value of the services provided up to the moment of withdrawal.
Customer obligations
For the services to run smoothly, you undertake to provide correct and complete information and documents on time. The Company is not liable for delays or consequences resulting from incorrect, incomplete or late information.
Privacy
We process your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR.
Intellectual property
All website content (texts, articles, images, logo) belongs to Închirieri Auto Otopeni or its partners and is protected by law. The content may not be reproduced or reused without prior written consent.
Limitation of liability
The information on the website (including blog articles and the virtual assistant’s answers) is for information only and may be updated in line with legislative changes. It does not constitute individual legal advice. For your specific situation, contact us for an offer.
Applicable law and dispute resolution
This document is governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be settled amicably; otherwise, jurisdiction lies with the courts established by law. Consumers may contact the ANPC (Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection) — anpc.ro, including through the ADR mechanism (Alternative Dispute Resolution), and the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
