Long-Term Car Rental Discounts — How They Work
In short
- Discounts are applied automatically, based on the number of days: from 4, 8, 16 and 22 days.
- Example: the Dacia Logan costs €28 per day for 1–3 days and drops to €15 per day for 22+ days (almost 46% less).
- All prices are final, with no deposit, with third-party liability (RCA) and full insurance (CASCO) included.
- You see the total price in the booking form before you send your request.
The short answer: at Închirieri Auto Otopeni the daily price drops automatically the longer you rent. Discounts start at 4 days and increase at 8, 16 and 22 days, with the lowest price reaching €15 per day. You don’t need a code or to negotiate: the booking form calculates the rate for you.
How long-term rental discounts work
Each car has a base price for rentals of 1–3 days. When you choose a longer period, the system automatically applies the reduced rate for that interval, for the whole rental. For example, for 10 days with a Dacia Logan you pay €19 per day, i.e. €190 in total.

Who a long-term rental is worth it for
- Romanians living abroad who come home for 2–4 weeks and travel around the country;
- People working temporarily in Bucharest who don’t want to depend on taxis;
- Families on holiday who want to visit several cities;
- Companies that need a car for a project lasting a few weeks.
Mileage is unlimited and roadside assistance is available 24/7 throughout Romania.
Tips to get the best price
- If you are close to the next tier (for example 7 days versus 8), compare the totals: sometimes an extra day costs very little.
- Book early during busy periods (summer, holidays) so you have more choice.
- Choose the car based on your needs: for the city, the Dacia Logan or Fiat Tipo are the cheapest.
